Living it up

So its the hols now. (this statement is supposed to explain why I've not been blogging too frequently) I'm back on my little island, enjoying the heavenly food, taking advantage of the Great Singapore Sale, cursing the weather and nursing a drippy nose. In between all these, I've also been trying to get in touch with my old friends who have so rudely ignored me due to their impending exams. (U're not forgiven, U hear me!)

Luckily, yesterday I found some people who weren't bogged down with exams. (Enter the Monash Meddies) We met up for dim sum buffet lunch at Harbour Front, bickered about what to do after that, toured the island in Joshua's yellow Mazda which just screams 'PLAYBOY', and eventually ended up cycling the afternoon away at ECP.

An excerpt from our outing:

Ling: Eh Josh, did I leave anything in your car?
Josh: Err, you don't seem to have your brain with you...

(Joshua paid the ultimate tribute to Dr. House with this statement.)

Here r some pics for my dear readers to enjoy =)

Say hello to Josh's doggie Cysqo (pronounced CISCO), one of the most obedient dogs I've met.

Josh dared Ling to destroy this pretty thing for S$50. That's so him to want to ruin something beautiful. When he found out I was from CHIJ, he remarked, "Yea I'm familiar with CHIJ gals...I pass them to my St Pats friends when I'm done with them." What an A**.

Don't ask me why Kel is looking at John so lovingly. Thu Huong, you've got competition. Hang on tight!

Josh actually looks pretty here. The next time he complains about the dearth of chio bu-s, I shall ask him to take a look in the mirror.

Where has the attention-seeking John I know disappeared to? I didn't realise modesty was in fashion...

Ling, your right to complain about this photo has been waived when you stopped me from taking a nice one of you in the restaurant. (She did look so glamerous in the lunch outfit)

Dinner was eaten at the Laguna hawker centre. We had the good fortune of Thu Huong's company (John's gf), who lit up our evening with her cheerful personality. Thanks for coming all the way from Tuas!
